Greetings!  “Spring is here, the weather is warm, the grass is greener and flowers are blooming”.

Pretty soon, it will be time for PASKO SA CANBERRA.

The Filipino Community Council of the ACT (FCCACT) Inc, the peak body of Filipino-Australian community organisations in Canberra, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy, will hold the eighth PASKO SA CANBERRA (Philippine Christmas Festival) on Sunday 4 December 2011 from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Philippine Embassy Grounds, 1 Moonah Place, Yarralumla ACT.

We would like you to join us and participate in this annual Philippine Christmas celebration. 
PASKO SA CANBERRA continues to be a popular day in the Canberra calendar of events.
It is one of the well-attended Christmas festivals in Canberra – an all day event packed with
Filipino flavour and talent.

This year’s PASKO SA CANBERRA will feature a variety of Philippine products and services for sale
to the public, including more stalls of Filipino cuisine and Filipino Christmas decorations.  There will
be a showcase of Philippine trade and tourism.  The Philippine Embassy grounds will be buzzing with activity such as games, singing and dancing competitions and raffle draws.  A major raffle prize of a return trip to the Philippines is up for grabs on the day.  The program includes entertainment and cultural presentations from local and Sydney artists.  Of course, Santa Claus will visit to bring presents to the little children.

If you would like to participate as a stallholder, sponsor or singing/dancing competitor in this event, please fill out the attached relevant form and return it to FCCACT Pasko Committee as soon as possible.  Stallholder applications close on FRIDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2011.  Please ensure that you
have read the requirements and conditions attached to the form.

In keeping with the spirit of providing Christmas cheer and gift-giving, FCCACT will donate proceeds from PASKO SA CANBERRA to an appropriate charitable organisation.
